As the new year begins to accelerate into the Spring, the Sensible team are heading to 2 trade shows to enjoy the thriving Lancashire and Cumbria business community among friends.

And we won’t be going alone. Our ever-present companion – the Arcade Machine – will be with us, ready and waiting for any punters to test their skills:

You’ll be playing for more than pride, however, as prizes will once again be awarded to the highest scores. You can read more about the prizes handed out at our last expo here, but for now let’s see what the new season has to offer…

Lakes Hospitality Trade Show
25th – 26th March
10am – 5pm and 10am – 4pm

First up on the list is the Lakes Hospitality Trade Show. Held in association with the Cumbria Tourism board, the event acts as a nexus for the region’s hospitality sector, aiming to help businesses “increase profitability, day-to-day efficiency, stay ahead of key trends, maximise training ideas and provide solutions to industry wide issues.”

We’ll be hoping to meet many of the local hospitality businesses that we provide services for, as well as everyone one else that’s up for a game on the arcade machine. And of course Masterchef 2019 Champion, Irini Tzortzoglou, who will be making some special dishes from internationally renowned local Cumbrian produce, which potentially include Kin Vodka, Hawkshead Relish, Lakes Distillery beverages, Claire’s Handmade, and Windermere Artisan Ice Cream.

Multi-Michelin starred chef Jean-Christophe Novelli will also be there, providing a masterclass titled ‘how to get the most out of your produce and ingredients’ on each day of the show.

If you’re interested in celebrating the show’s 45th outing with us and over 130 other exhibits, including University of Cumbria, NatWest, and Heineken, register for your free tickets now.

Lancashire Business Expo 2020
3rd April
9am – 3pm

Once April rocks around, we’ll be joining over 160 exhibits for the 6th year of Lancashire’s largest business event. Set in Preston’s Guild Hall, the event is a great way for businesses from across the UK to connect to those in Lancashire.

For the over-2000 people attending, there will also be keynote sessions hosted by Lancashire’s leading business figures. They will be sharing their knowledge and experience gained over the years, and allowing those outside the Lancashire business community to get an understanding of how local businesses interact and build relationships for growth.

Be sure to pop into to Sensible’s exhibit for a chat and a highscore. But whatever your interest, every company type is going to be represented, small and large from both the public and private sectors, corporates and SMEs. Click here to collect a free Delegate Pass.
