Bluebird Care is a nationwide provider of care for those in need of a high quality alternative to residential care. Bluebird Care operates across numerous franchises all over the UK and has won awards for its continued excellence, most recently obtaining the ‘Home Care Coordinator Award’ at the Great British Care Awards.
In early 2015 Claire Evans entered into the Bluebird Care family, starting her own franchise (as Bluebird Care Lancaster & South Lakeland) and opening an office in Lancaster, set to provide care to the Lancaster District and South Lakeland areas.
Keen to keep her costs manageable amid the already large financial commitment of setting up a new business, Claire invested time in researching suppliers and service providers.
After struggling to find an office print provider she would be happy to use, Claire was recommended Sensible by a relative. Claire remarked on the “good customer service in initial contact” and on further investigation found the Sensible approach represented good value for money.
On choosing Sensible as her office print provider, Claire was visited by managing director Phil Graham who supplied her Bluebird Care office with a Kyocera multi-function device to attend to her printing, copying and scanning needs. After paying a small installation fee for her new printer to be set up, Claire paid no upfront cost for the machine and proceeded on a cost-per-print basis, only paying for what she actually prints.
Being a new business owner and wanting to avoid getting tied into a long-term deal that could place a huge drain on her business’ resources, Claire praised Sensible’s flexible 12 month contracts as well as the cost-per-print model, which she noted as being “good for managing overhead costs”. In addition to the potential to save money, Claire was also positive of Sensible’s position as a local provider and saw the possibility of increasing her market presence through using them.
Claire summarised by saying “working with Sensible takes all the hassle out of managing our printing, scanning and copying demands. We’re going to recommend them to all our colleagues in the Bluebird Care network.”
