Established in 2013 by Neil Corrigan, Kendal-based Creative Lakes specialises in marketing and branding, working mostly with small and medium sized businesses. Creative Lakes selects clients with great products and services that deserve better promotion. The agency provides clients with concepts and campaigns based around core marketing principles and prides itself on streamlining businesses’ marketing outputs, building brands rather than just designing them.
Before working with Sensible, Creative Lakes made use of an old inkjet printer, best-suited for domestic use.
“We work in an industry where colour quality and presentation is very important,” said Neil. “The domestic inkjet printer just wasn’t good enough. It was slow, unreliable and was costing us a small fortune in ink cartridges which didn’t seem to last very long at all.”
In 2014 Neil came into contact with Sensible managing director, Phil Graham, at a local networking group. Through meeting Phil, Neil got to know about the Sensible business model. Having himself worked within a large office print company, Neil was wary of various tricks of the trade, but found the approach adopted by Sensible to be refreshing and more client-friendly.
Upon becoming a Sensible customer, Neil was provided with a quick, high quality colour machine. In an industry in which presentation is everything, Neil finally found himself with a device capable of doing Creative Lakes’ designs justice and able to achieve the colour consistency essential to the company’s work. Furthermore the machine was provided with no rental or upfront cost, operating on a low cost-per-copy basis.
Neil mentioned that “Sensible have been quick to respond. No problem is too trivial.” He also notes that Sensible have more than halved his office print costs.
Neil concluded by saying “Sensible have a refreshing approach to office print. The solution they have provided to Creative Lakes saves us money and valuable time.”
