Karen Rhodes Weddings and Events have been serving up delicious food at events across the North West for over twenty years. They offer an extensive range of mouthwatering cuisines and menus as well as party planning services. This family run business adds flavour to weddings, fundraisers, birthday parties, corporate dos and any other occasion you can think of.

The business was originally founded by Karen Rhodes, and as the company grew Karen’s husband Phil joined to help with the logistics. A few years ago Karen’s daughter Charlotte also got involved and mainly focuses on wedding co-ordination and party planning.

As the company grew, so did the need for reliable technology, and unfortunately their provider at the time was letting them down. Charlotte commented “reliability was a real issue” and that “people weren’t responding when there was a problem”.

In 2012, a member of the Sensible team popped in to see Karen and see if they could help. Charlotte told us that “due to the professional and straight-talking discussion, we made the decision to try Sensible”.

The hosted exchange emails synchronise their mailboxes across their devices in real-time, and give the team the ability to share calendars and collaborate with one another more effectively. The cloud hosted (VoIP) phones are super flexible and come with plenty of enterprise-grade features. Karen Rhodes Weddings and Events have found the call redirect particularly useful when they are at an event and out of the office.

Charlotte confirmed that the business has saved both time and money as a result of working with Sensible. Perhaps most importantly, she added that “we now have an efficient office and service at our end”, the Sensible team are “very attentive, efficient and quick to reply”. The improvements made have meant that Karen Rhodes Catering now has more time and money to focus on the business.
