Introducing Re-Rite from Toshiba, an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software engine that works with your Toshiba photocopier to scan and convert paper documents into electronic files, allowing you to edit them in a range of formats including Adobe PDFs, Microsoft Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.
Simply insert your paper copy into the automatic document feeder of your Toshiba photocopier and press a template button on the control panel. Re-Rite then scans and converts the file and distributes to either a specified email address or folder on your computer network.
Re-Rite is also capable of identifying key document formatting, such as borders or shading, italicized or emboldened text, even closely matching the font style used on the original paper copy.
